EPSSA Swim and Dive Gala Wed 1.4.15

Good luck to our P7 Swimmers and to our P6 and P7 Divers competing at the annual Edinburgh Primary Schools Sports Association (EPSSA) Swim and Dive Gala on Wednesday 1st April. Thank you to Mrs Beth Walker (Sciennes P.E. and Swimming Specialist) who co-ordinates and comperes the event for her support in trialling and preparing the pupils.

The event begins at the Royal Commonwealth Pool at 9.45am and Sciennes will be taking part sporting our '70' swimming caps, generously funded by the School Council last year. Race timetable is shown below. (Schools with more than 125 pupils are 'A' schools and 'B' schools have fewer than 125 pupils). Every primary school in Edinburgh has an EPSSA number for competitions and ours is 70. Pupils have been issued with a letter and are reminded to bring £1.00 for lockers. Parents wishing to spectate are welcome to accompany us to RCP and we will leave school shortly after morning registration. (Please note that, whatever our personal results, we always stay for the medal ceremony at the end and so may be late back for lunch.)
