P7 Basketball Team in Inter-Area Final

Well done to our P7 Basketball Team on reaching the Inter-Area Basketball Final held at Dean Park Community High School on Wednesday 20th May. It was such an achievement to go through to this stage of the competition - a first for Sciennes! - and everyone played really well against very stiff competition. Congratulations to Law Primary School from North Berwick who won overall. We were most fortunate to have both Mikey Macdonald, Active Schools Basketball coach, and Sarah Murphy, Blaze Basketball coach, accompany and support the team. Great sporting attitudes from all the team, particularly Lawson, and we hope that all the players will take up the invitation from Sarah to come along to the open sessions at Blaze Basketball,  joining Dylan, Joe and Maxwell who already attend.
