Saturday 14th May 2016, The Meadows, bright sunshine. Thirty girls' football teams from across nine Edinburgh schools competed in the Sciennes Spring Cup.
Around 2 hours and 135 goals after the first kick off, in what was an extremely closely fought competition, Sciennes P2/3 and P6/7 teams lifted the trophies for their year groups, with P4/5s only narrowly missing out from making it a clean sweep. An amazing performance all round.
All the girls gave their best and did themselves proud in an exciting and at times nail-biting morning's football. Congratulations all.
