Hope you all had a good Easter Break.
The amazing Caroline Brockbank has agreed to run a Ceilidhkids event for primary 1-3. This fundraising event for Sciennes Primary will be held on Friday 8th May 2015 in the School Hall between 1pm - and 2.30pm. The cost per participant is £3 and will include a water and a snack.
Tickets will be available on Wisepay later this week.
Many of you will know what great fun a Ceilidh Kids Event is but for those of you who don't, it is that magical combination of Scots Music, dancing called by Caroline and reeled by us! Fun for all the family - and brilliant exercise too!
If it is good weather, the school has agreed we can bring a picnic to have after pick up in the playground and before the Ceilidh Starts.
Please could you advertise this event round your classes and encourage everyone to support the inaugural Parent Council event for P1-3?
It would also be good if you could arrange for one person from each class to meet me in the staffroom after drop off on Friday 24th to help me put the final arrangements in place - all help welcome and all ideas gratefully received! We will need volunteers on the day to help serve the water and snack at the break - and maybe we could even have a bakesale too? You are the experts on that!
