Sciennes, fielding four teams, made an excellent start in the first event of the new season,
Lothian League Day One, run by Lothian Junior Chess at Wester Hailes
Education Centre on 24th November. The season started with the highest number of
teams entered for this event for six years and the Sciennes' teams performed extremely well.
Thank you to Bill Platts and all the parents who helped with organisation, transport and supervision.
