Grateful thanks to Paul MacArthur, Regional Development Officer for the Camanachd Association, Governing Body for Shinty, for providing excellent taster sessions for P6 and P7 at school on the Meadows this month.
The sessions have been really well received and P6 and P7 pupils are encouraged to try out JGHS shinty sessions:
Saturdays The Meadows 11.00 am –12.30 pm Tollcross end, between Melville Drive & Lauriston Gardens. Outdoors (grass). Open to all.
Mondays James Gillespie’s High School 3.45-4.45 pm Ground at corner of Whitehouse Loan & Thirlestane Road Outdoors (synthetic). Open to all.
