Believe • Achieve |
What a lovely image, shared by parent Fiona Denvir, taken as pupils made their way back to school after a joyful Sports Day in the sunshine in the Meadows on Friday 3rd June.
Grateful thanks to our PE Specialist, Mrs Beth Walker, for her expert organisation which ensured all events ran smoothly and a great time was had by all at this year's Rio themed day. We were delighted that about a third! of the P7 year group turned
up at 8.15am this morning, having volunteered to help set up.
Marvellous!
Mrs Walker had an excellent idea to invite P7 pupils to opt in to manning events and they truly excelled as leaders! Outstanding ambassadors for the school.
Congratulations to Tantallon, who not only won the relay race, but were overall Sports Day winners, with a runaway lead! Mrs Noble is so proud of your achievement!
There is still all to play for in deciding which House will win an end of term afternoon of Fun and Frolics, so keep earning those House Points everyone!
