Cycling Success in P5

On Wednesday one P5 boy couldn't ride a bike.  On Thursday, after 25 minutes, he could (to the cheers of his classmates). All it required was a school bike (pedals removed to practice 'scooting' and get used to balancing), an experienced helper - and determination.

Organised by Ms Christie, the students worked with four biking experts, to first get ready for cycling by checking their tyre pressure and brakes, and fitting their helmets. Then they tried different stations to develop balance, agility, steering, and safety skills riding. Thank you to Ms Gregson for the photographs.
